Terms of Use for Deja2™ Camera

Effective Date: September 7, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are between you and TrimVid LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) for the Deja2™ Camera mobile application (the “App”) and this website. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The App is also licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If anything here conflicts with Apple’s agreement about how the App Store works (purchases, refunds, billing), Apple’s rules win:

1. What the App is

Deja2 Camera is a camera app. It shows a live preview and a delayed replay so you can record a clip after you see the moment. Recording, replay, and saving happen on your device. Clips you save go to the Photos app on that device. We do not host your videos on our servers.

You need an iPhone or iPad that can run the App, and you must allow Camera, Microphone, and Photos when the App asks (Location is optional).

2. No account

The App does not create a Deja2 login or password. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, not to a TrimVid account.

3. Free use and Deja2™ Premium

You can use the core live / delay / record features without paying. Free saves may include a watermark.

Deja2™ Premium is an optional paid upgrade. While Premium is active, new saves are intended to have no watermark, and Premium tools such as Live Mark, Delay Screen Picture, and Video Stabilization stay available. We may also let people try some Premium tools for a limited number of free saves (currently up to 50 Picture or Live Mark saves). That try-offer can change.

Important: Buying Premium does not remove the watermark from clips you already saved. Only new saves after Premium is active are watermark-free.

4. Subscriptions (what Apple requires you to know)

Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store. Today that is a yearly (one-year) subscription. The price you pay is the price Apple shows in the App at the time you subscribe. It is billed to your Apple ID.

  • The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Apple charges the renewal to the same Apple ID within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • To cancel or manage the subscription: open the iPhone/iPad Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Deja2 Camera (or the Premium product name Apple shows). Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription.
  • If you already paid on another device with the same Apple ID, use Restore Purchases in the App.
  • We do not see your full credit card number. Apple handles payment. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies, not by TrimVid LLC directly.

We may change the price or what Premium includes in the future. Apple will show you the current price before you buy or when a change requires your agreement.

5. Beta software

If you install the App through TestFlight, you are using beta software. It may have bugs, heat up the phone on long sessions, or change before the public App Store version. You use the beta at your own risk. Please report problems on our Help page or from Settings → App Support in the App.

6. Your content and your device

You own the photos and videos you capture. You are responsible for how you use them and for following the law (including other people’s privacy when you record).

The delay buffer lives in the App’s memory on your device. We do not upload it to TrimVid servers. If you force-quit the App, the unused buffer is typically gone. Clips already saved in Photos stay there until you delete them.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the App to break the law, to harass anyone, or to try to hack, copy, or resell the App. Do not remove our trademarks (including Deja2™) from the App or from watermarked clips in a way that pretends you made the App.

8. Intellectual property

The App, name, and related designs belong to TrimVid LLC (and licensors). Deja2™ is a trademark of TrimVid LLC. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store and Apple’s EULA. They do not sell you the App.

9. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The App is provided “as is.” We do not promise it will never crash, miss a moment, or work on every device in every situation. To the fullest extent the law allows, TrimVid LLC is not liable for lost videos, missed recordings, or indirect or consequential damages. If we are ever liable to you, the amount is limited to what you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim (often zero if you only used the free App). Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the Effective Date. If you keep using the App after that date, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App and cancel any subscription in iOS Settings.
